Iberika education group gGmbH was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of the iberika language schools.
The iberika language schools were originally founded with a focus on the linguistic diversity of the Iberian Peninsula and have been offering further education courses in the areas of business languages, languages for the workplace, regional and cultural studies, communication and job application training and intercultural training alongside Spanish, English, Portuguese, Basque, Catalan and German as a foreign language since 1996. The schools actively support course participants in achieving their individual learning goals and, with their successful didactic concept, contribute not only to improving language skills, but also to diverse and effective professional development. As a private and independent company, iberika language schools are committed to the quality of their services. The programmes and services are constantly monitored, evaluated and improved. The diversity of experience, for example in the further training of international companies and institutions, in the development of teaching materials or in worldwide exchange and partner programmes, makes a decisive contribution to ensuring that the teaching programmes of iberika schools are always state of the art.
Iberika education group gGmbH is fundamentally based on the same principles as iberika language schools, but has the additional non-profit purpose of promoting education as well as popular and vocational training; the promotion of an international mindset, the promotion of tolerance in all areas of culture and the idea of international understanding. Our main goal is to bring people closer to languages and cultures, to promote mutual tolerance and to support the process of arriving in Germany. Iberika education group gGmbH actively opposes discrimination on the basis of ethnic origin, gender, religion or ideology, disability, age or sexual identity.
Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. Iberika education group gGmbH stands for demand- and customer-oriented training and further education and guarantees the highest quality in language training and job-oriented further education with teaching programmes that are individually adapted to the learning needs of the participants. To ensure the satisfaction of our customers, we regularly review and evaluate the quality of our services. In the area of integration courses, in addition to didactic and integrative aspects, we also take into account the current situation and development of the labour market and support our participants in order to increase their opportunities in society.
Our training programme and individualised services are based on a thorough assessment of participants' initial qualifications. Participants are categorised by us and receive comprehensive advice on their learning level, the structure and goal of the course as well as further development opportunities. In this way, we ensure that all participants receive optimal support according to their abilities. Our learning programmes are all practice-oriented and designed according to the latest didactic and methodological criteria and are conceived and implemented in consultation with our lecturers, social and office staff. Our up-to-date teaching and learning materials and regular, adult-orientated learning and performance reviews also help to ensure that participants successfully complete the courses and prepare themselves just as successfully for the primary labour market. Many of our participants are already in a position to take up employment on the primary labour market after attending the higher levels.
Our staff consists of qualified and motivated employees in management and administration, as well as professional and experienced teachers who work for us both full-time and part-time. We are a small company with a highly committed team that demands constructive communication. We pay attention to stability, good work and optimally organised processes when designing working relationships and work organisation. The quality of our services is the result of clear structures, transparency in our work processes, open communication channels and the professional and social skills of our employees as well as their continuous professional and pedagogical training. Our employees are committed to helping shape the working conditions and identify strongly with the goals we set together.
Our classrooms are equipped in accordance with modern professional criteria for adult education. All rooms are adapted to the respective target groups and meet the requirements of the Federal Office for Migration.
Iberika's advertising claims are truthful and reputable. Our training programmes are also transparent with regard to objectives, participation requirements, conditions of participation, completion, duration, location, price, number of lessons, methods used, examination modalities and terms and conditions. We issue meaningful certificates of attendance that contain at least the name of the organisation, the name and objective of the event as well as the content, time period and number of lessons. We grant the option of cancellation within a reasonable period of time and the option of termination for good cause. Our cost rates comply with the principles of efficiency and economy.
What does successful learning mean to us:
Learning is an open, individual, lifelong and self-determined process! Iberika understands successful learning as high-quality learning and follows Prof. Dr. Rainer Zech's quotes; Successful learning is learning that the learner himself appreciates, finds good, that is valuable to him, that expands his ability to act in a professional, personal and social way, and includes:
- Expansion of knowledge and skills (qualification)
- Development of personality (personality development)
- Improved integration into the respective relevant social relationships (integration/democratisation)
Iberica's curriculum is defined down to the last detail, it contains clear lines, objectives and learning content in the implementation of which the individual is always at the centre. Internal differentiation is a must for us and learning is an independent process that stimulates, motivates and encourages.
Everyone learns and teaches in a different way and we can all benefit from this. The Iberika team is made up of highly qualified and experienced employees from different backgrounds, cultures and learning biographies. For us, successful learning is not just about imparting linguistic competences or expanding and strengthening the language skills of the participants, rather we see successful learning as the shared experience of learning from each other, broadening our perspectives and developing as people. The manageable size of the centre, the physical proximity and the close personal contact make iberika a place of encounter and togetherness where different ways of thinking can live together respectfully.
