Promoting digital skills: the ADU Safe Digitalization Project

The ADU Safe Digitalization project is a Europe-wide joint initiative with four committed partners from Turkey, Italy and Germany. In the midst of the ongoing digital revolution, the project seeks to improve the digital skills of adults. This is a crucial step towards seamless integration into the digital world and promoting social inclusion, especially in marginalized regions such as rural areas. A central focus of the project is to raise awareness of digital security.

Objectives:

1. effective use of digital skills: Empower individuals to use their digital skills to navigate the digital landscape confidently and competently.

2. Increase digital literacy: Raising the overall level of digital literacy among adults to equip them with the essential knowledge and skills they need to succeed in an increasingly digitized society.

3. Managing digital risks: Equipping participants with the necessary tools to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the digital world to create a safer online environment.

4. Using Technology 4.0: Promoting understanding and familiarity with cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies to empower individuals to adapt and succeed in a technology-driven world.

5. Facilitating inclusive change: Facilitating the inclusion of adults in the overarching digital transformation to ensure that no one is left behind on the path to a digitally-driven future.
