Feeling Home

This project aims to reduce the risk of social exclusion of migrant women in our society by promoting education, strengthening tolerance and motivating trainers and learners to adopt a lifelong learning strategy that focuses on the needs of migrant women.

Migrant women have unfavorable conditions for learning and are less likely to have access to language opportunities that promote integration due to their caring responsibilities.

Therefore, language learning opportunities for migrant women should be tailored to their specific needs, and Feeling Home aims to improve educators' competences for delivering informal training, including digital and ready-made solutions that easily improve teaching strategies for vulnerable groups.

Feeling Home has two main objectives:

1. to improve language learning opportunities for migrant women by creating a new informal pedagogical approach to improve their integration opportunities in host countries.

2. To support overstretched language trainers working with migrants and vulnerable groups with new methods, best practice examples and an extensive pool of free materials and digital tools.

With this project, 150 migrant women will improve their language skills and be able to express their opinions and needs, and 25 teachers will improve their professional skills in alternative language teaching methods.
