DigiTise! Digital Toolkit for 50+ Teachers

In the context of a post-pandemic world, many older educators and teachers are struggling to teach online. Therefore, this project aims to improve the transversal competence of teachers/trainers in VET and general subject teachers belonging to the 50+ age group who have recently had to switch to online teaching by developing their digital readiness, resilience and capacity, leading to an improvement in their ability to teach and deliver more engaging and challenging online lessons. Thanks to teachers' use of strategic, standardized and integrated digital tools in online teaching, the quality of teaching in the online space and learners' motivation for online learning will increase. All of this will provide 50+ teachers with the long-term benefit of improved job security.

Objectives

- Transfer of know-how on 15 different types of digital tools within the partnership.

- Improvement of the quality of online teaching through the creation of a handbook with a general description of the main digital tools and at least 45 digital practice exercises.

- Improvement of the digital competence level of over 50 teachers through the creation of 10 MOOC courses with basic and intermediate digital competences
