UNIVERSITY OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY: The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is an educational and research institution officially founded in 1980. The UPV/EHU has been recognized as a Campus of International Excellence in Research by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN), and in 2021, it was awarded the HRS4R prize by the European Commission for excellence in human resources for research. Two of its fields of study, Journalism and Education, have joined forces to fight disinformation by promoting media and information literacy among European educators across different educational settings.
